Ben Rogers is the Sr. Director of Research Services in Information Technology Services at the University of Iowa. Ben's undergraduate work is in computer science and physics and he completed an MBA in 2011. Ben formed and currently oversees the University of Iowa HPC program, research focused data storage services, and provides technology focused consultative services to broad based university researchers.
Prior to joining Research Services he worked in the University of Iowa Institute for Clinical and Translational Science leading efforts to deploy cyberinfrastructure in support of diverse biomedical research. This work included the deployment of research data capture and management systems and a radiological image management and processing platform. He also previously worked in a neuroimaging laboratory with responsibility for the IT environment and contributed to the development and implementation of analysis pipelines.
